The Early Childhood Center (ECC) at Christ The King (CTK) is a church operated, non-profit, childcare center licensed by the State of Michigan. Our program was developed to assist parents in providing their children with a learning environment, which recognizes the spiritual, as well as the developmental needs of your children. Thus, what we offer your family is a positive, spirit-filled care and learning environment with Jesus Christ at its center.
We believe that play is a child's vehicle for learning. Because of this, we offer a child-oriented curriculum. Staff creates and plans materials, activities, and experiences that are specifically designed to teach children important skills in a natural way (through play). The staff also provides children with many opportunities to make independent choices and work at their own pace and developmental level. |

Our tuition rates are based on our high standards of providing quality staff, developmentally appropriate toys, books, equipment, nutritional snacks, staff training and operating costs. All these items contribute to the health and well-being of your children and are essential in running a high quality childcare center.

SOUTHGATE — "This is the way we wash our hands, wash our hands, wash our hands. This is the way we wash our hands, early in the morning.”
When children sing the words to this song two times all the way through, it gives them just about the right amount of time they should take to wash their hands thoroughly.
Children in the preschool program at Christ the King Early Childhood Center learned this practice, as well as many other lessons related to hygiene and personal safety, during a presentationchildcare center.
